Today we’re at the park. I’ve always been one of those obnoxious parents that follows my children around on the playground to “protect” my babies. But now they’re getting so big, so I decided that maybe letting them roam the playground without my constant direction and nagging is a good idea. And, well, they love it and they are behaving themselves! Rock Steady has played on parts of the playground that I would never let him play on otherwise. And, surprise, surprise, the other kids are not bothering my children. I suppose maybe I’m the one who has been breaching playground etiquette.
A successful morning.
